Process
How Boxless works
A walkthrough of delivery, your 14-day rental window, dolly add-ons, and pickup day.
The Boxless process, step by step
- 1
Pick your package
Use the estimator or compare packages. Every package is a flat price for 14 days, delivery and pickup included.
- 2
Choose your dates and window
Reserve at least 4 days out and pick a delivery window. We confirm your slot before charging anything.
- 3
Check out securely
You pay the package price, Maryland tax, and a $100 refundable deposit. Add a dolly for $15 if you have stairs.
- 4
We deliver to your curb
Stacked, clean totes arrive inside your window, at the curb whenever that's reasonably possible. We photograph the stack so the count is never in question.
- 5
Pack at your pace
You keep everything for 14 days. Need longer? Extend a week for $45 before pickup day.
- 6
We pick up, you get your deposit back
Leave the totes stacked where we dropped them. Once they're back in good condition, the full deposit is refunded.
Curbside delivery and pickup
We drop off and collect at the curb whenever reasonably possible. Boxless personnel do not enter interior areas, carry equipment up or down stairs, move packed totes, or load or unload vehicles.
If curbside placement is not reasonably possible, Boxless may use the driveway only as far as is reasonably necessary and only with your permission.
Our crew does not:
- · Enter residences, apartment buildings, offices, garages, porches, fenced areas, backyards, storage units, hallways, elevators, stairwells, or other private or restricted areas
- · Carry equipment up or down stairs
- · Move packed totes
- · Load or unload your vehicle or moving truck
Once the equipment is accepted at the curb, packing, lifting, carrying, stacking, loading, unloading, transporting, storing, safely using the equipment are yours.
Safe use
- · Maximum packed weight is 50 pounds per tote.
- · Lids must be fully closed before lifting, carrying, stacking, or transport.
- · Do not stand, sit, or climb on totes or dollies.
- · Do not stack higher than is stable and safe.
- · Use two people or appropriate assistance for heavy or awkward loads.
- · Do not drag totes across floors.
- · Stop using and report visibly cracked, broken, or unsafe equipment.
What can't go in a tote
Loose glitter, confetti, sand, soil, ash, powders, wax, paint, resin, adhesives, oils, chemicals, leaking liquids, food waste, hazardous materials, and other substances likely to stain, contaminate, damage, or become embedded in the equipment are prohibited.
These materials may be transported only when fully enclosed in a leakproof, securely closed bag, bottle, box, or other container that prevents contact with the rented equipment.
Extraordinary cleaning, repair, or replacement charges may apply.
